What happened to kekoa64?

eBay Pulser Kekoa64 went NARU yesterday afternoon, Feb 27.

He’s a smart guy. He doesn’t need to use illegitimate marketing tactics to build a successful business. Look at how well Robert Kiyosaki does selling the same product, “How to get rich on passive income.”

Best wishes to Kekoa!

  1. Hmmm…. I find that particularly interesting. I wonder what his transgression was. Did he really goof on some eBay rule? Or is eBay finally cracking down on people who deceptively embed MakeTrack/Watch codes in auctions and elsewhere?

And of course, now he’s no longer the top Pulser, at least for the time being. It looks like “jjfjq” is top dog now, with a watch count of nearly 100,000. I wonder if this person will get NARU’ed soon. Well, we can count on Michelle to keep an eye out for us. 🙂

    Cheers,

  2. Kekoa64 himself gives an explanation on his blog : http://blog.kekoa64.com/ . He says that eBay mistakenly associated him with another userID that apparently was in violation of something. He says he’s trying to work it out.

  3. It wasn’t anything to do with eBay watcher manipulation.

All of the other eBay Pulsers are still running listings. The watcher script is still working.

We’ll just have to wait for the Kekoa64 comeback. You can’t hold an entrepreneur down for long. 😉

  4. etreet: You are correct, it wasn’t anything to do with watcher manipulation. Kekoa’s post confirms this.

I’ve went through the eBay TOS word for word and there isn’t anything against what kekoa64 is doing to get watchers (if in fact that is the way he is getting them). So while we might not like the tactic, it’s not against ebay’s TOS, as far as I can tell.
