I track the top 20 items on the Pulse in the Everything Else category. This chart shows a glitch that started on Feb 13 at 12:45 pm PT. I subtracted the starting number of watchers so you can compare them on one graph.
It only affected these four listings:

56,730 Watchers – $19,464.44 Just SLAMMED into My Paypal Account – guide from MysteryGiant

83,185 Watchers – LEARN HOW MY GIRLFRIEND & I MAKE $100+/HR IN OUR GUIDE! from Kekoa64

15,061 Watchers – POWERSELLER secrets ReVeALeD Make $1600 Per DAY likeMe from the.rich.boy

14,944 Watchers – POWERSELLER secrets ReVeALeD Make $1600 Per DAY likeMe from the.rich.boy

The glitch started at the same time for each listing. Only a few watchers were added during the flat period. The number of watchers jumped up 4 to 8 hours later. Then each listing started incrementing by 10 to 20 watchers again.

I don’t think it was an eBay reporting glitch because then they all would have restarted at the same time. It could have been an issue on the Pulsers’ server or with the eBay weakness that they exploit to get watchers.

That’s all for today. It’s been pretty busy lately.

  1. Where do you go to see the amount of watchers for a listing? I think the most I’ve ever had was 10 or so but it would be interesting to see how many other listings have and compare that to their sales.

  2. A highly recommended site is elfingo.com for online auctions. They are the new ebay. Many smaller sites like this offer buyers far better deals than ebay ever could. Buyser also save a ton because this site charges little or nothing depending on the day. One more reaso I like elfingo.com is because they don’t take a part of the sale at all. No commissions or final value fees. A+++ http://www.elfingo.com
